A winter durum release from OSU in 1999, the first winter durum release known. It was developed in cooperation with Pendleton Flour Mills and related interests who presently have the exclusive license for production. It has poor winterhardiness and winterkilled extensively in the first season of its commercial production. It is less productive than hard red winter wheats or soft white winter wheats grown in the Treasure Valley but has undergone limited testing.
