Soft White Winter Wheat Response to Reduced Irrigation
Wheat production with reduced water supplies is all to common in southern Idaho. Reduced moisture has significant implications for N fertilization practices. To study soft white winter wheat N requirements under different irrigation regimes, field studies were conducted for two years at Parma and Kimberly Idaho. The studies were supported by a grant from the Idaho Wheat Commission (IWC). Jason Ellsworth, Extension Soil Specialist, prepared two IWC progress reports from these studies that are available below for viewing and downloading.
