Grain yield could be reliably predicted using NDVI readings at Feekes growth stages 9 and 10.5
At the onset of senescence, NDVI and yield were no longer correlated
NDVI readings at Feekes 9 and 10.5 were not correlated with grain N, thus unlikely to be useful in predicting grain protein
